Terms of service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms explain how Aaron Tech Solutions (“we”, “us”) works with you (“you”, the client) when we provide web and app development, business email set-up and design services. Your written quote forms part of our agreement; if the quote and these terms disagree, the quote takes priority.
1. Using this website
The information on this website is for general information only. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but it may change without notice. The examples in our showcase marked “Sample concept” are illustrative designs, not work for real clients.
2. Prices and quotes
- Prices shown as “from” (for apps, websites and business email) are starting prices. Your final price depends on your requirements and will be set out in a written quote.
- Prices shown without “from” (such as flyer and business card design) are fixed prices for the design work described.
- Services shown as “price on request” are quoted individually.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
- Unless your quote says so, prices don’t include printing, domain names, hosting, app store fees, email mailbox subscriptions, stock images, fonts or other third-party costs.
- Work that is not in the quote (for example extra pages, features or rounds of changes) may be charged separately. We will always agree extra costs with you before doing the work.
3. Payment
- We may ask for a deposit before work begins, and for the rest at agreed stages or on completion. The amounts and timings will be in your quote.
- Invoices are payable within the time stated on the invoice.
- If payment is late, we may pause work until it is paid.
4. How the work runs
- We will agree the scope and an estimated timeline with you. Timelines depend on you providing content, feedback and approvals promptly.
- Your quote will say how many rounds of changes are included.
- When you approve the final work (or start using it live), we treat that part of the project as complete.
- We will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill. If something we delivered doesn’t work as agreed, tell us and we will put it right.
5. Your content and responsibilities
- You are responsible for making sure that the text, images, logos and other material you give us are accurate and that you have the right to use them.
- You are responsible for the content of your website or app once it is live, including legal pages, and for complying with laws that apply to your business.
- Please keep passwords and account details we hand over secure.
6. Ownership
- Once you have paid in full, you own the final designs and the custom work we create specifically for you, unless your quote says otherwise.
- Third-party items (such as open-source code, themes, plugins, fonts and stock images) remain subject to their own licences.
- We keep ownership of our general tools, know-how and reusable code, and give you a licence to use them as part of your project.
- Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished work in our portfolio.
7. Third-party services
Your project may rely on services from other companies, such as hosting, domain registrars, email providers and app stores. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their outages, changes or pricing. Where possible, accounts for these services should be in your name.
8. Cancelling
- Either of us can end the project by giving written notice. You will pay for work done up to that point and any costs we have already committed to on your behalf.
- If you are a consumer (buying for personal rather than business use) and you agreed the contract online, by phone or by email, you normally have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start work within those 14 days, you will need to pay for work done up to the point you cancel.
9. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
- If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in these terms affects them.
- If you are a business, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, or for indirect losses, and our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid us for it.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
10. General
- If there is a problem, please contact us first at info@aarontechsolutions.co.uk or 07413 364652 so we can try to sort it out.
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your project is the one in place when you accept your quote.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
